Slimming World Copyright
As we are not officially part of the Slimming World Company, we have to be careful not to breach their copyrighted information.
We are not allowed to copy recipes, features and photographs from Slimming World books, the magazine and the Official Slimming World website.
We are however, allowed to share and discuss personal favourite recipes and their Syn values, and to support each other with personal experiences, motivating messages and congratulations. If someone were to ask a syn value, we are allowed to give the information as long as we don't provide a list copied from the books/magazine/SW official web site.
Support is crucial to members' success and if a forum boosts the support they receive from their group, the Slimming World magazine, friends, family and The official website, LifelineOnline - it helps each member to become more successful in their weight loss.
Slimming World Ultimately want to ensure that information available to members is
correct and isn't going to affect their weight losses in group. It's for that reason they also ask other companies/websites (ie, us) not to allow lists of foods to be included on their website, including Free Foods, Healthy Extras and Syns copied from the website or from the member book.
Another very important matter is that we are not allowed to share the group password needed to access the Slimming World LifelineOnline web site that is given each week in your Slimming World Class.
Please try to adhere to these guidelines given by Slimming World. If any posts appear to be in breach of these guidelines, the Slimming World Support team will remove information without prior notification.
